Maracasite is a grey mineral from Switzerland. When the crude stones are cut with many facets, they sparkle like brilliant diamonds. These dome shaped clip-on padded paddle back earrings are made of Marcasite, set in a lacy geometric Sterling Silver setting that rises to 1/4 inch (6mm) on center and has a diameter of 7/8 inch (22mm) which is just 1mm less than a US quarter.
