B&B Rectangular Hematite Clip on Buttons

This rectangular non-pierced button earring is 1 and 5/16 inches (33mm) long and 1 and 1/8 inches (29mm) wide. An eye catching faceted piece plated with Hematite - 3/4 inch (19mm) by 1/2 inch (13mm) - is the focal point of these beautiful earrings which rise 6mm on center. A 1/4 inch (6mm) ornate frame adds interesting detail. A large paddle back clip allows earring to be placed on the earlobe where it is most flattering. Gem Info: Hematite is a dark gray - almost black - shiny opaque gemstone that has the look of metal. Used as a gemstone, as well as for plating, it gets its name from the Greek word for blood as it is red in powder form and true Hematite leaves a red streak when scratched across a piece of unglazed porcelain.
