Chipita Clip-on Earring #472

The heart of this handcrafted and hand stitched clip earring is a 1 inch (26mm) wide, 5/8 inch (16mm) high piece of the semi-precious gemstone Rhyolite, a mottled green marble-like stone formed in volcanic flows so bits of other materials add spots of mossy greens, browns and grays reminiscent of a rain forest. Designer Chipita Eagle frames it with golden, copper, and green beads. Then she pulls some of the colors from the stones to form the 7 short dangle with golden findings, more of the frame beads, textured enameled metal ovals, tangerine colored Swarovski crystals, 4mm balls of the Rhyolite and and 8mm balls of Morrisonite nicknamed the King of Jaspers for its deep rich shades of browns & greens and unique patterns. This very special, one-of-a-kind padded paddle back clip earring has an overall length of 1 and 7/8 inches (47mm).
