These non-pierced earrings by world-renowned American designer Chipita Eagle feature the semi-precious gemstone Carnelian in a 1 inch (26mm) long elongated diamond shape surrounded by a rainbow of hand stitched brass, gemstone and limited edition antique glass art beads with an inner row of smaller seed and cane beads. The art beads were made in Europe only between WWI and WWII and - with their unusual shapes and finishes - are very collectable. 1 and 1/2 inches (38mm) high and 1 and 1/4 inches (32mm) across at their widest point, they have a padded paddle back clip. Carnelian - a reddish-brown variant of chalcedony - has been valued since the Roman times, when it was often used to make signet rings. Gift hint: Carnelian is an alternate July birthstone.
