Colorful Triangle Clip-on Drop Earrings

These 2 and 1/4 inches (58mm) long non-pierced earrings make me think of the Mayan jewelry of old. A triangle with a slight curve provides the backdrop for a drop fashioned with a 6mm round bead and a metal ornament with engraved hieroglyphics. The picture does a poor job of representing the color of the triangle because of its shape, but on the left with golden findings and a turquoise bead, it is turquoise dappled with shimmering gold. On the right with oxidized nickel findings and a carnelian bead, it is darker turquoise with black marbling. The back of the triangle, seen in the alternate image, is shimmering gold or glossy black.
