Curving Foil Glass Clip-on Drop Earrings

These stunning non-pierced earrings feature a very special piece of Foil Glass. The glass is attached to the simple ball and loop clip by a length of pliable niobium wire, circling below the piece, running thru and behind it and thru the clip's loop, finishing with a final group of circles. (Niobium is a light weight metal that, for jewelry making, is anodized to stunning colors that never fade or tarnish.) Each unique drop starts as a heated piece of intensely colored glass that is first shaped, then layered with a strip of foil and finished with a final layer of clear heated glass. Your choices:
Left: Deep Turquoise Blue glass with silver foil and shimmering ultramarine blue wire hanging from a rhodium-plated clip. The glass is 1 and 1/8 inches (29mm) long with lopped off corners.
Right: The glass is a 1 inch (26mm) long and 11/16 inch (17mm) wide rectangle of rich Persimmon Orange with lighter orange foil, jet black wire and a hematite-plated clip. The length as shown is approximately 2 and 5/16 inches (58mm) and can be shorten or lengthen by compressing or elongating the niobium wire circles.
