Designer David Sung's comfortable and secure simple hoop clip makes it possible for those of us who don't have pierced earlobes to wear thinner hoops. With an edge that is 3mm wide (a bit less than 1/8 inch), they have a length of 1 and 5/8 inches (41mm) and are 1 and 1/8 inches (27mm) from front to back.
