Descending Agate Balls Clip Earrings

These 3 inches (75mm) long non-pierced earrings feature Agate - the semi-precious gemstone Chalcedony mixed with other mineral - treasured for its wide variety of unique shades and patterns. Designer Katherine Kornblau chooses balls of Agate in shades of orange and hangs them from from a 5/8 inch (16mm) button top (oxidized to highlight its details) covering a padded paddle back clip. Using the gemstone balls in descending sizes - diameters: 11mm (7/16 inch), 9mm (3/8 inch), 7mm (9/32 inch) and 3mm (1/8 inch) - Katherine has accentuated paler orange agate with a silver-plated top and brighter orange with gold-plated. Each distinct, natural work-of-art, the earrings have been paired for similarity.
