These 2 and 1/16 inches (52mm) long non-pierced earrings are reproductions of Egyptian jewelry from the period of 3100 - 1211 B.C. By MuseuM ReproductionS, they are fashioned in gold-plate with glass-barrel shaped beads of genuine Garnet. In ancient Egypt, red Garnet was highly valued as its blood color symbolized life. The golden finding that the drops hang from symbolizes the Lotus, a water lily that is also associated with ancient Egyptian culture. Made in the USA with a hinged screwback clip. Don't be surprised if you feel like royalty wearing them.
