We call them turtles, but Designer Ken Kantro, who draws his inspiration from the timeless beauty of nature's creatures, calls them by their formal name - Terrapins. No matter what you call them, the longevity of these land and water animals has made them symbols of wisdom and immortality. Using gemstone domed cabochons - left Leopard Jasper and right Turquoise - to represent the turtle's shell, each piece is an original design that Ken has signed. Made of fine quality pewter, which does not readily tarnish, the turtle shaped setting hangs from a pierced look simple clip for an overall earring length of 1 and 1/8 inches (28mm).
