Golden AOI Leaf Non-pierced Drop Earrings

The focal point of these museum gold-plated clip-on earrings is the leaf of a water plant that was part of the design on an early 19th century Japanese wedding palanquin - an ornate covered chair carried by bearers. Topped by a 6mm bead of blue Lapis, a semi-precious gemstone, the 15/16 inch (24mm) wide AOI hangs from a simple ball and loop clip for an overall length of 1 and 5/8 inches (42mm).
