Jean Berain's Heart Clip on Drop Earrings

From MuseuM ReproductionS, these 1 and 3/4 inches (45mm) long non-pierced earrings are inspired by designer Jean Berain's elaborate decorative motifs that were used in all aspects of the royal realm of King Louis XIV who reigned from 1643 to his death in 1715. The intricate heart drop - 3/4 inch (19mm) long and 5/8 inch (16mm) across at its widest point - is linked to the simple ball and loop clip by a 4mm Fresh Water Pearl. The silver in the earrings has been oxidized to give it the well worn patina of beloved jewelry. These earrings come with a story card with more information about the designer and the king she designed for.
