KJK's Pearls & Gems Clip-on Drop Earrings

New York designer Katherine J. Kornblau pairs a gemstone rectangle with 3 white freshwater pearls in these 1 and 13/16 inches (46mm) long non-pierced linear earrings. Hanging from a simple ball and loop clip, the drop begins with a 5mm round pearl, and continues with a rondelle of small beads, a 1/4 by 1/8 inch gemstone rectangle, a second rondelle, another 5mm pearl, a third rondelle and, anchoring the drop, a 5mm oval pearl. On the left, metal elements are gold-filled and the gemstone Garnet. On the right, the gemstone is Iolite and the metal silver. Gemstone Info: Dark red Garnet is the January birthstone. Iolite, a rich blue violet colored stone is sometimes called "water sapphire" because it is found in water deposits and commonly mistaken for top-grade blue sapphires.
