M. Golan Mohave Spring Hoop Clip-on Earrings

Getting her inspiration for these contemporary non-pierced hoop earrings from spring time in the Mojave Desert, designer Michal Golan begins with a 24k gold electroplated hoop that is 1/4 inch (6mm) wide with a 13/16th inch (21mm) diameter and gives it a burnished finish. Then she embellishes it with a pale gold enamel and lavishly studs it with gemstones. Seen top to bottom in the front facing hoop they are: pale yellow Aragonite, red orange Aventurine, lavender Cape Amethyst, and blue-green Amazonite.
