M. Golan Ornate Golden Clip-on Drop Earrings

These lavish 1 and 7/8 inches (48mm) long non-pierced dangle earrings with paddle back clips are reflective of designer Michal Golan's love of elaborate designs with rich hues, semi-precious gemstones and freshwater pearls. The setting is made of 24k gold electroplated over brass. The oval top - 3/4 inch (19mm) - features 4 balls of Green Aventurine and 3 Freshwater Pearls set against a layer of soft silver enamel with golden beads and curliques that form 7 hearts. The drop begins with more curliques framing a square of Blue Lace Agate set on the diagonal with golden ornamentation and continues with an open granulated heart from which dangles another Green Aventurine ball and Freshwater Pearl finished with a ribbed golden cap and a small golden ball. Purely gorgeous!
Gemstone information: Aventurine is an opaque variety of Quartz containing small inclusions of shiny minerals giving it a luminous effect similar to glass marbles. Blue Lace Agate, one of the rarest and most popular agates, features lacy or wavy light blue bands swirling through it.
