Michael Golan Clip-on Button Earrings #67

These richly colored non-pierced buttons by designer Michal Golan are 24K gold electroplated. The base is given added shine with golden brown enamel and then decorated with an intricate design in antique gold with rubies, faceted iridescent blue crystals, and smooth navy blue beads filling the empty spaces. A square of the gemstone Chrysocolla sits in the button's middle with a faceted ruby on top of it. These beautiful buttons are 7/8 inch (22mm) square with a padded paddle back and the designer name engraved on the back.
Gemstone info: Vivid blue-green Chrysocolla, the king of carbonate copper gemstones, is often mistaken for turquoise because they share many visual similarities. Legend has it that the stone was originally mined in King Solomon's mines in Africa.
