Miss Lucy's Non-pierced Drop Earrings

These beautifully intricate Victorian clip earrings were reproduced from an identical pair in the Farnsworth family jewelry collection in a Rockland Maine museum. 2 and 1/2 inches (63mm) long from the top of the clip to the bottom of the drop, they are plated in 'museum gold.' Cleverly jointed and full of fascinating motion, they are a great conversation opener! Their name sake is Lucy Farnsworth (1839-1935), the 2nd daughter of prominent businessman William A. Farnsworth. She founded the Library and Art Museum that bears her father's name and licensed these reproductions.
