Sadie's Antique Glass #4 Non-pierced Earrings

These hand crafted and hand soldered earrings are made with antique glass from the 1920's, set in a brass antiqued stamped setting issued from original period art deco dies. 1 and 5/8 inches (42mm) long, they hang from decorated hinged screwback clips. The Montana Blue glass ovals - 11/16 inch (18mm) high and 1/2 inch (13mm) wide - rise to about 1/4 inch (6mm) on center, shimming like a deep pool of water under a full moon. The picture - frozen in a moment - does not do justice to the beauty of the glass. The alternate image shows the detail of the earring's back.
