These 2 and 7/16 inches (62mm) long non-pierced earrings by Sadie Green's are made using forms from the Victorian era. The antiqued silver-plated setting in the Cannetille style that used strands of jeweler's wire that were twisted and wound into intricate designs is anchored by a 14x9mm (9/16 by 3/8 inches) Intaglio oval. An Intaglio is a very detailed design, formed by putting a thin layer of antique jet glass over highly decorated antiqued silver with cuts in the jet glass until the silver shows thru.
