Ornate Half Hoop Dancer Clip-on Earrings

Fashionistas tell us that chunky earrings that blend medieval and Gothic elements will be very popular this year. These 1 and 1/8 inches (29mm) long half hoops that are 13/16 inch (20mm) across at their widest point are a perfect blend of the two styles. The setting, which has a padded paddle back clip is platinum-plated with the nubby center area brushed with black enamel. Rows of golden beads line the sides setting off the golden rimmed oval with 2 raised dancers - looking much like the signet rings of medieval monarchs. Two bezel set 6mm round black beads at the top and bottom of the earring complete the Gothic look. Even though it is a bit heavy, it is well balanced for wearing.
